We are Twilight Alliance Gamers!

Twilight Alliance Gamers is kind of a long name so we like to shorten it down to TAGamers (t-a-gam-ers) and use [TAG] for our in-game tag.

What is TAGamers?

Simply put, we are an adult, social, online gaming community who plays online games across all gaming genres in a friendly, maybe even family, type atmosphere.

'Twilight' is a dual-meaning word referencing both the time of the day in which we play as well as the mature age of our members.

'Alliance' speaks towards the bonds and common grounds that not only brought us here but keep us coming back.

'Gamers' is, well, the fact we are online hanging out chatting, playing and having fun with fellow community members.

What is the point of TAGamers?

Everyone has something - some kind of hobby - that brings them peace and relaxation. We choose to play online games in a community of friends that we know and trust. TAGamers is a place to take a break from the stress and responsibilities of our daily lives. It's a place spend time with friends laughing, playing games and having fun in a positive, relaxing atmosphere.

How was TAGamers started?

TAGamers was officially organized by a group of real-life friends in the winter of 2005 shortly after the release of Call of Duty 2. The initial website and forum went live before the spring of 2006. Most of those original members had played online games together for years prior to organizing TAGamers. Due to the size of our group and our experiences trying to find a community with which we could be happy long term, we decided to start our own.

How can YOU join TAGamers?

We want to see our ranks grow but only with the right people. If you are a drama queen, have a negative personality or can't control your language in public then TAGamers is not the place for you. You need to meet the following criteria:

• Must be over the age of 18 with exceptions given to children of existing members.
• Naturally treat everyone with respect.
• Naturally be honest, sincere and helpful.
• Just want to play games, have fun and hang out with friends without any drama.

Let us get to know you. If you are the kind of person we want to become a permanent member of the TAGamers community then you will get an invitation.

Representing TAGamers

We play numerous games across various genres. Many of us have played online games for much longer than we care to admit and games in general for even longer. We play for the fun and the camaraderie that comes with playing with friends. What we expect of all community members and members of TAGamers guilds and clans:

• Have fun! It's why you are here.
• Be respectful of and helpful to everyone. If someone is rude or griefing you, walk away from them. Find a way to ignore them. Don't stoop to their level by retaliating.
• Adhere to the unspoken rules of honor that bind our community together. It will be noticed and draw like-minded gamers to our ranks.
• Never, ever, under any circumstance cheat in any game! Do not deprive anyone of the right to enjoy their game.
• Represent TAGamers in a positive and respectful manner at all times.

Your in-game player character (PC) is not only a representation of you but of the TAGamers community. If you can't represent yourself and TAG in a positive and respectful manner than you just won't be here.
